What You'll Find
The store, the adventure
Walking into the brick-and-mortar Toots & Magoo shop is like stepping into a Seuss-ian temple. Up above, felt birds perch on felt branches while paper airplanes hang in mid-air alongside oriental kites. Giant wood-carved centipedes line the shelves of painted Hungarian armoires while puppets parachute down the storefront windows. You’ll stumble upon screen-printed bags, hand-woven aprons, kitchenware, school supplies, books, toys, and paintings. It’s a place where minds can not only wander but wonder, where new possibilities emerge from old materials.
